With T’Challa’s death comes a question of who will take over the mantle of Black Panther and who will lead the kingdom. Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje will need to do everything they can to protect their nation. The movie even makes sure to honor the actor by having the death of King T’Challa. The late Chadwick Boseman didn’t get a chance to film any of it before his untimely death, and his passing is going to be felt heavily. While Black Panther 2 is not going to feel the same, it’s certainly a movie worth watching. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is no longer in theaters in most places, but many are planning to revisit the movie in light of the 95th Academy Awards where it received five nominations.
